Intentions
He cast a glance across the room, wishing not to believe it and yet knowing it was true. All this life he had hated her and yet here he was, realizing in a single moment that all his life he had been blind.
He desired her.
He reached out a hand but she took no notice; her eyes were averted away. It struck his heart like a whip ripping through his skin and flesh.
It was hopeless. She'd never be his.
All his life he had hated her - this was all she knew.
She knew nothing of his intentions.
Author Note: I thought I'd try a TRADITION drabble - exactly 100 words. And I hated writing it. Too short. I mean, I like short, but 100 words is just too little!
