SasuNaruSasu, Fluff. So-sweet-you'll-die. Don't like, don't read.

--For Now..--

'Ne Sasuke, come here. I want to show you something.'

He didn't know why he agreed. Maybe it was the pout of his friends face, or the almost knowing look their sensei's gave them. Or was it that he just wanted to be free of it all for the night. But either way, Sasuke Uchiha found himself camping in the middle of nowhere with Naruto Uzumaki. Alone. Just the two of them. 'Someone up their hates me..'

'What do you want, dobe?'

'Just get your scrawny ass over here. It won't kill ya.' 'Che, how would he know that? I'd probably die from stupid overdose.' But all the same, he rose from his spot by the fire and walked over to the blond standing on the edge of the tree line, where the lake began.

'What, dobe?' The night air had a bit of a bite to it. He wanted to do what ever it was quickly and get back to his fire.

'Close your eyes.' An eyebrow went up. Naruto rolled his eyes, 'Just do it. It'll be worth it.'

'Hn..' Pale eyelids slid closed. 'Wow, I see a whole world in here.' The voice was dripping sarcasm.

'Teme... Anyways, this way. And no peaking!' He grabbed the Uchihas hand, who flinched at the sudden contact. They walked down the path to the lake in silence, Naruto leading the less then willing brunette.

Suddenly the blond stopped, 'Kay teme, we're here. Open your eyes.' The air was colder down here. Sasuke noticed a few things first. One, they were standing on a dock. Two, it was oddly bright; and three... Naruto still hadn't let go of his hand.

'Hn, I see water. Anything else?' Naruto frowned, 'Look up, bastard.' Sasuke did, and gapped.

The fall night was perfectly clear, and because they were on a lake, they had a perfect view of the stars. With the moon almost full, and the slightest of breezes, it gave a surreal feeling. The raven-haired youth felt a tug on his hand. 'Come on.' He looked over, towards the end of the dock. A blanket was there. 'So this is where he's been..'

They sat down together, Naruto's head resting on his shoulder. The blanket was wrapped around them, keeping in the heat. For now, Sasuke didn't mind. Later, he'd have to kill the kitsune, of course.

'Thanks for coming down here, Sasuke.' He placed a light kiss on the avengers cheek. Sasuke smiled, 'Anytime, Naru-chan.'

For now, he'd enjoy the feeling of being next to his fox and not having a care in the world.
