"Helena! Why do you never listen to things when I tell. You always go off and do things your way which most of the time results in us running for our lives trying to get away from another artifact that wants us dead."

"Darli-"

"Do not 'darling' me. I'm am not in the mood to here you apology."

In the mist of the screaming match they had never heard Artie's warning them to stop the fighting. Doing the only thing he could think of to calm them and the artifacts around then was to drop the goo.

"Don't say I didn't warn you." Artie said as he flicked the switch that releases the goo.

There were two startled screams and then all was silent. Myka and Helena glared at each other before breaking into hearty grins. They wrestled and laughed their mood from earlier broken.

"I think we need to take a shower now." Myka said trying to catch her breath.

Helena nodded as grabbed Myka's hand and led her to her car. They went to her trunk and grabbed the emergency towels that were there when ever something like this happened. They got in their respected seats and rode in a comfortable silence back to Leena's.

When they had arrived they instantly headed upstairs to the bathroom. Turning on the water they pulled off their sticky clothes. Myka stepped into the shower first feeling the water pound the goo out of her dark curls. She sighed as she felt Helena climb in her body running against hers.

"Myka hurry up. I'm cold." Helena whined giving a slight pout.

Myka gave a small smirk and shook her head. Payback was going to be sweet. Helena pout grew even bigger as she stood in the cold waiting for Myka to relinquish her spot under the water. As more goo washed off of Myka the larger Helena's pout grew until all of a sudden it went away. Myka gave her a curious look before continuing as if nothing happened.

Myka had her eyes closed and didn't notice Helena edging her way closer to her. She quickly covered her mouth with her hand and pushed her against the wall. Myka's eyes popped out in surprise as she felt the cold tile hit her back. Giving Myka a smug smile Helena stepped into the water and moaned in satisfaction as it took away her chills.

It was Myka's turn to pout as she was the one who now had to face the frigid air beyond the boundary of the water. All Helena did was wink at her before putting her face in the water feeling the goo rush down her body. When she finally looked back at Myka she noticed her shivering. Pulling her towards her so they were both under the water she smiled gently at her.

"You didn't think I was going to let you freeze to death, darling?" Helena asked her

"No. I just thought you were going to let me suffer." Myka said giving her a smirk.

Helena laughed quietly as she pushed herself closer to Myka. She wrapped her arms around her and pressed her face into the crook of her neck breathing in her scent.

"You know I'm sorry. I don't mean to do what I do." Helena breathed out.

"I know you don't. You just need to be more careful." Myka responded.

She grabbed Helena's chin and pulled it up to meet her eyes. Leaning in she gently pressed her lips to Helena's. She felt her push her body against hers closing the small gab between them. Breaking the kiss when the need for air was great she pushed Helena. Helena looked up away from her lips and frowned.

"As much as I would love to continue this we are going to run out of hot water and I do not want to hear Pete complain about being cold later on."

Helena gave a laugh and nodded slightly. They washed the goo from the rest from their bodies sharing the water so neither would be cold. They took comfort in the others arms until they both managed to step out of the shower and wrapped themselves in warm towels.

Even though they started the day arguing it ended in forgiveness and a very nice shower.
