What the heck is Hogwarts? I go upstairs to find mum.
"Mum, what is Hogwarts?" I asked.
"Hogwarts is your new school hon."
"Where is it?" I asked.
"Somewhere in Scotland." Diagon Alley is where I need to buy my school supplies. According to another sheet of parchment in the letter, I need three sets of plain black robes, one plain black pointed hat, one pair of dragon hide protective gloves, and one winter cloak. The books I need are The Standard Book of Spells by Miranda Goshawk, A History of Magic by Bathilda Bagshot, Magical Theory by Adalbert Waffling, A Beginner's Guide to Transfiguration by Emeric Switch, One Thousand Magical Herbs and Fungi by Phyllida Spore, Magical Drafts and Potions by Arsenius Jigger, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them by Newt Scamander, and The Dark Forces: A Guide to Self-Protection by Quentin Trimble. I also need a wand, a pewter cauldron, and an owl or cat or toad. I'll decide when I get there.
The next day a woman knocked on our door.
"Hello. I am to be your guide." Okay. Let's get this party started. We first went to Gringotts, the wizarding bank. She created an account for me. They started me with 500 galleons. We went down in the tunnels and they showed me my vault, which was number 107. The lady, Hannah, gave me a pouch, which I scooped up what I thought I needed. We exited Gringotts and went into the crowded street. We went and bought all my equipment. We went back home. Then the lady gave me my ticket and drove me to King's Cross. She led me to a wizard family named the Potters.
"Hello," I said.
"Hello Athena," they said in unison. That was really cool.
"Okay let's go kids. Now remember, walk into it, but if you're nervous, run into the wall."
"Hello. I'm James and this is Albus," the oldest said. Mr. Potter helped us get our luggage on the train. Mr. Potter, Mrs. Potter, and Lily bid us goodbye. I went to the farthest open compartment and started to play with my bouncy ball. I bounced it up against the wall of the compartment. I fell to my right and I was too lazy to pick it up. Good thing I read the spell book.
"Wingardium Leviosa," I whispered, pointing my wand at the ball. To my surprise, it lifted up. "YES!" I practically screamed, gaining a few looks from the compartment over.
Albus' POV
"YES!" I heard from the compartment at the end. I walked over. Athena was doing magic. I stared and stared until I heard a laugh,
"Watching a girl ay, Albus?" I looked over and saw James watching me.
"No," I said.
"You are, aren't ya?" he replied.
"No I'm not. At least not now."
"But you were."
"Maybe. So how is it your business?"
"Because I'm your older brother and I have the right to make fun of you for it."
"Shut up or I'll owl mum and dad. And go away."
"Fine then, but YOU'RE IN LOVE!" he shouted. I started chasing after him.
