Desperate for help BEEEEP! BEEEEP! The alarm clock blared. There was a thump as a hand landed atop the alarm and stopped its screaming. Blue groaned not wanting to wake from the comforts of his bed. He sat up with little effort and ran his hand through his mess of light brown hair. The bed was a mess with the sheets thrown down and the pillow half off the bed, it was no wonder his hair was a mess. Blue regained focus and thought about what to do next. He didn't actually have a job, which meant there was nowhere to go each day, due to him still living with his younger sister and mother. He decided that the best course of action would be to go back to bed. He was at that stage in life where enough sleep isn't enough sleep. He flopped down on his pillow and thought about when would be a decent time to get rid of his stupid alarm clock. He was about to doze off when he heard a small muffled voice. He sat up rubbing his eyes to wake himself. The noise got louder and sounded almost like a person shouting, he looked around his room. There were no signs of someone in his room. He shrugged and was about to lay down as he heard the tiny voice again, this time much more clear. "Blue...Blue...BLUE!" The voice cried out. "Huh, who's there?" He answered, not recognizing the voice. "Blue! It's me Red!" An excited hint in the voice. "Red?" Blue questioned wondering why his rival would be in his own room. "We're are you?" "I'm down here!" The voice cried. "Where?" Blue asked as he started to stand up. "HEY! Watch out!" The voice almost screamed. "Don't step there! Don't!" It cried as the warning came too late. Blue placed his foot upon the ground and heard a small crack followed by a squeak. He immediately stopped standing and sat back down on his bed. Blue lifted up his foot as a tiny body no more than 3 inches tall fell to the ground. " Oops", he said picking up the tiny being by the back of it's shirt. He only had to inspect the figure for a few moments before realizing it actually was his rival. "Red? He asked."Why are you so small?... And in MY room" he looked intently upon him. "I mean ME of all the people you could choose from..." He never finished his sentence as Red's tiny voice popped up. "Why am I so small? Heck if I know! And as for being in YOUR house? Well, I was coming home to visit some people and fell asleep, when I woke up I was tiny and your house was the closest. There are only six houses here and I'm not going to walk for a few hours to someone else's." Blue looked amused as he watched his little (ha ha lol) rival rant on. As he finished the rant, he cut himself off and looked Blue straight in his hazel eyes. "Would you mind putting me down now?" He sounded very annoyed. "I don't think so pipsqueak." He smiled staring back with a condescending look. "Don't call me that!" Red snapped back. Such an outburst might have caught someone else by surprise, But Blue was used to these fiery outbursts. They happened whenever someone looked down on him, and Blue had a lot of experience in that. "Ha, ya right. Don't call me that!" He mimicked back in a squeaky voice. Red was about ready to explode when a sweet voice interrupted them. "Um, a little help here?"
