I Don't Love You

By My Chemical Romance

Well when you go
Don't ever think I'll make you try to stay
And maybe when you get back
I'll be off to find another way

"Listen, Bella, look at me," Jacob stood there pleading with me to look at him. I couldn't bring myself to; I couldn't let him see how much this hurt, but my tears began falling faster then a summer rain, "Please Bella..."

He cupped my face, instinctively flinching away at the icy feel of my skin, only to replace his hands forcing me gently to look at his charcoal eyes. They reflected the image of a dark haired girl with tears rolling down her high cheekbones, and her eyes red, like the blood of those that would be needed to feed her. Those black ovals still showed some shock, and possibly some disgust, at what they were looking at.

"You know I can't stay here Jacob." I managed to choke out in my new musical voice, "I'm a danger to everyone around me."

His nose crumpled as he breathed. I smelled too sweet for him now; he had told me that it burns his nose if he breathes deep enough. He closed his eyes as he regained himself, "I'm not asking you to stay."

"What are you asking of me?" I asked, wanting to help him in some way. I already had married his family's rivals and now I was actually one of them. I remember still the look of horror and betrayal on his face when he saw my scarlet eyes for the first time. I almost couldn't bare it.

"I don't know anymore..." His voice trailed into a whisper

We stood there for a moment just gazing at each other. My face warmed in his unusually hot hands. Mine were left dangling at my sides.

The silence was broken, "You have to go now don't you?"

My throat was so tight that I only nodded, afraid that only sobs would come out.

"Then I won't stop you," Jacob let his hands drop but his eyes still held mine, "I've been trying to stop you for so long, but there is nothing I can do now I suppose."

I tried to smile but I couldn't.

"Don't be so glum Bella," he tried to smile too, but the same result came, "I'll be seeing you later."

That was a lie, we both knew it was. There would be no way that we could ever meet again. I could tell that he was trying not to get mad, to become what he was, but I could see his hands begin to shake.

"G-goodbye, Jake." I said dropping my eyes back to the ground. I turned slowly and walked at the normal human pace that I had been used to.

My newly sensitive ears heard a whisper, "Goodbye Bella, I love you..." I almost turned around but I had to keep walking. I picked up the pace running faster then any human could but not at the blinding speed I was capable of.

Not a second after I turned into the trees did I hear the rip through the peaceful air that I expected. I peeked from behind a tree to see a shaggy terracotta colored beast running away from me. The last that I would ever see of Jacob Black.
