AUTHOR'S NOTE: So, a one-shot of them returning home that focuses on Sora. Enjoy.

DISCLAIMER: No, I do not own KH. I do not own anything important. If I owned KH, the 3rd game would already be out, and not be connected to any of the spin-offs (particularly DDD, I hated that game).

Finally, they were home. It may have taken two years for some of them, but all that mattered was the fact that they made it back. Now if only Sora knew what to say to his mom… How would he get her to believe him? Well, he could bring out the keyblade, and maybe Riku would come over and help…

"Sora, what are you thinking about?"

"Oh, uh, it's nothing Kairi…"

"Oookay, if you say so."

"…I was thinking about what I would tell my mom. I was missing for two years Kairi, that's not something you can brush off."

"Yeah, you're-"

"There you guys are. Went up to the tree, and you didn't even invite me. How rude."

"Hey Riku, what are you gonna tell your parents?"

"…Well I was kinda hoping you guys would come over and help explain…"

"Yeah sure! I was thinking the same thing…or something close to it."

"Well, we should get going. Who knows how long it will take to explain everything…"

"Sure Kairi! C'mon Riku, race you to the dock!"

Standing in front of the door was enough to make Sora nervous. And he hadn't even knocked yet. He hadn't been home in two years, and now he had to explain that to his mom…who hadn't even realized he was gone until a few months ago.

"Sora, are you just going to stand there or knock? 'Cause if you don't, I will."

"Sheesh Riku, give me a break!"

Finally, he knocked on the door.

"So you're telling me that you went on not one, but two crazy adventures? And that you traveled with a talking duck and dog? Not to mention that you stabbed yourself in the heart to save someone?"

Oh yeah, they omitted the fact that it was Kairi he did that for.

"Well, if you won't take our word for it, we have proof."

"What sort of proof?"

"This." With a flash of light, Sora's keyblade appeared, along with Riku's and Kairi's.

"Oh my god… They really do exist."

"Yeah, that's what we've been trying to tell you."

"I can't believe this all happened, and I was just sitting here. Well, go on then, I know you still have some people to convince."

"Thanks mom. For believing us."

"Of course."
