"Axel, why do people kiss each other?"
Axel was genuinely surprised by this sudden question. He knew Roxas had a lot of questions about the world, but kisses? "Well…" He began, trying to put together the right words. Was he supposed to talk about everything, or just kissing? "When people really care about each other, they kiss. It's a way to show how much you care."
"Oh!" Roxas smiled. "I see." He leaned over quickly and pecked Axel on the cheek. "I'm your friend so I care about you, right?" Roxas blinked up at and flustered Axel.
"That's not-!"
Axel was interrupted by Xion joining them on the tower. Her hair was messy and there was sweat on her brow. She also didn't know what a kiss was, and felt a little left out of the loop. "What are you doing?"
Roxas grinned up at her. "Hello!" He stood up to give Xion a kiss on her cheek. "Axel said that's what people do when they care about each other."
"Really? I didn't know that" She blushed and quickly kissed him back.
"That's not what I meant. Friends don't do that…" Axel sighed behind them, running a hand through his hair. The two keyblade wielders peeked over at him with mischievous grins.
In the blink of an eye the two had pinned down their best friends friend and began planting kisses all over his reddening face.
It was a noisy day on the clock tower.
Author's Note: Eep, sorry this is pretty lame. I haven't come up with a story in like a year.
