Christmas is coming~

Naruto stood at a far corner of the playground watching all the kids play, like always. They were all too busy having fun to be bothered to see him. That's what he thought. He didn't notice a timid white-eyed, dark haired girl in a dress hugging her teddy bear tightly sitting on a swing, who kept glancing at him while thinking of her mother's words, "The gift of giving." And now that Christmas was approaching, the day all about the spirit of giving was coming. Hinata wanted to give him something but she had no idea what.

Soon the parents came and picked up the happy kids. None of them looked at Naruto, they all walked past him as if he wasn't there.

"Com'mon Hinata-sama, we have to get back before your Hiyashi-sama gets angry." a Hyuuga branch member said gently leading the reluctant white-eyed girl away. Suddenly she stopped, "W-wait a m-minute." she whispered softly. She had just thought of the perfect gift.

She ran towards the lonely blonde haired boy and shyly shoved the teddy bear she had been clutching into the boy's arms and quickly ran away blushing. Tomo-chan was her favourite teddy bear and she would never let anyone touch it, but the boy had looked so lonely she decided to give away her precious companion to him as he needed Tomo-chan more than she did. She would miss Tomo-chan but she felt happy anyway….was this "the gift of giving" her mother always talked about?

Naruto was very surprised he looked down at the teddy bear, it said 'Hinata Hyuuga' on the side of it's right ear. Naruto happily ran back to his orphanage, "Hinata Hyuuga," he thought, "today I have made my 1st friend in the village."
