Clark could hear the staticky sound of a rocket, it was feint at first, but it drew near with every second that past. Glasses reflected the light above. So elegant as of candle light, but grew harsh like a wildfire. It flew past and landed not so far from his home.
"Clark?─what's going on?" Mother said as she hurried herself from the creaking wooden steps.
"I don't know. Stay here, alright?" He turned to her, until she gave a nod of approval. The farmboy immediately set off towards the smoke that was rising into the morning sky.
It had been awhile since anything fell from the stars, but it seemed to be more familiar. The ambiance so─resemblance to his own. Eyes finally met the metal object, sticking out of the ground.
His hand ghosted over it, curiosity striking a blow to him. Strange. So strange.

Clark stepped back in shock at the sound. What appeared to be doors sliding open.
" WHO GOES THERE?" Clark demanded so lowly.
A small chuckle escaped from the being inside,"My you have grown so bold, my old friend. It has been so long since I have seen your face." The voice seemed older, wiser, and booming with glory.
"Do you want me to say it again?" Kent grew frustrated as he spoke. The being yet again laughed.
"As you wish, Kal-El," He replied. The only thing Clark could see was the magnificent red cape─like his own. Eyes widened as the figure showed itself.
Colossus body, white fur of snow, and eyes of the sky. It was a canine, but much larger. It's standing structure looking so proud and hopeful.
"Do you not remember me, sir?" The animal spoke, cape flying lifelessly behind him.
"No," Clark whispered unhappily with his answer,"Who are you?"
The stranger tilted his head gracefully to the side,"I am Krypto. A loyal guard of your family. I have been. For many generations."
