The First Huntress
Don't own Danny Phantom or RWBY.
Once, there was a Blaze of Disaster that stained Earth with its neon green flames... The flames from the earth scorched the heavens. The blazing whirlwinds threatened to consume the very future of the planet. Mankind clung to its only hope of surviving this life-or-death crisis: The Red Huntress. With no way to fight, the people cast their hopes on the Red Huntress and believed in the future.
Valerie Gray was once a rich, popular girl at Casper High until the appearance of a huge ghost dog at Axion, a large laboratory facility where her father worked. Danny tries to catch the dog, but the two of them cause so much ruckus and damage, that her father, Damon Gray, loses his job. Due to his job loss, she and her father have little money, and thus her popularity status from the "in-crowd" plummets. Valerie blames her misfortunes on Danny Phantom, thus dedicating herself to hunting ghosts for the rest of her life.
Valerie's future self has become Amity Park's defender. Valerie is extremely stubborn and hot-tempered, as well as very persistent and dangerous. Not even her dad can stop her dedication to hunting ghosts.
Amity Park remains as a heavily fortified city and has become a bustling futuristic metropolis. It is protected by a huge ghost shield, operated and run by Damon Gray, while his 24-year-old daughter Valerie serves as the city's sole protector from the ghosts that try to attack from outside. The ghost shield was nigh-impenetrable and had protected Amity Park for ten years, until one new, very evil and very powerful ghost uses his newest power, the Ghostly Wail, to easily break through the ghost shield. Valerie is then ambushed by the Fright Knight, who reveals he is now in servitude to the new ghost. She heads to safety in Fenton Works, now occupied by her and her father; the Fenton family is nowhere to be seen. The new ghost gets through from below and reveals himself to be an adult Danny Phantom. He then blows up the entire house. When Dark Danny broke Amity Park's enhanced Ghost Shield, she tried to hunt him, but he easily sent her away.
The night of the second day wrapped in a torrent of light, the Huntress vanished from Earth together with the Blaze of Disaster. Many heroes tried to defeat him and failed, until a girl stepped forth and did battle with him, ultimately managing to defeat him. However, she could not kill him; rather, she exchanged her life to seal Dark Phantom away forever.
Much of the Earth has been ravaged and left in ruins. The Earth was renamed Remnant after was left of its people and civilization. Time passed. The battle of the Red huntress remained in the hearts of the people as a familiar, ubiquitous legend. The girl's name was forgotten by time, and she became known as simply the Red Huntress. But the people had no reason to think that their familiar legends of the past would have meaning in the present — and in the future.
