We arrived at the rendezvous point as the sun reached its highest point in the sky.

"Hardly a palace," Eliza commented, unimpressed. "a castle at best."

What was she saying? I was more than impressed; I was mesmerized. Embezzled by the stone fortress that shot into the sky and spanned what seemed to be endlessly across the terrain.

This was it, the cornucopia. I had dreamt of this day every night as long as I could remember. I held my breath and ignored Eliza. She would not ruin this simple moment for me.

"Never seen a thing like it in my life." I admit softly. The structure was old but sturdy, the sides of it becoming overtaken by nature. Two huge wooden doors would meet us after stone steps that were no less magnificent than the castle itself.

For a brief moment I forgot where I was. The possibility of danger eluded my conscience.

"Don't be fooled by this structure; we are still in the wilds. We are still in titan territory." The commander chided as she led us. "Let us not forget the many we have lost to reach this point."

The corps fell silent spare the sound of the horses trotting along the grass and eventual concrete. The commander's voice boomed once more.

"I want the supply corps to set up at the rear. Dominic will lead. Right flank led by Ybarra will detail the right of the Cornucopia."

The supply and right flank break apart from the formation.

"and left flank will, well, I hope can you figure it out. Odalis, lead."

The left flank broke off to the left, respectively. The rest of us pressed onward, straight for the doors. My heart ran laps in my chest. Up close, I noticed the building was narrower at the top, and widened as it reached the base.

Commander Hartell raised her hand and halted the horses.

"What is it?" Odin, who was to my right, asked.

Hartell squinted her opaque eyes, watching the door diligently. It was as black smoke poured into the sky from the left that I saw it;

A twelve meter class aberrant rushing from the left as a 5 meter class burst through the doors.
