Guess what~! It's finals week and I'm "studying" right now. I'm literally losing my marbles. Ten long weeks of mindless bullshit. Why do I pay to go to college? Why do I pay for torture? Must be one hell of a masochist. Anyway, I have a final tomorrow and I can't function, so I wrote this little drabble in memory of my sanity.

Blah, blah, blah, copyright laws.

Roxas stared at his open notebook, occasionally looking up and to the left to test how his memorization process was coming along.

It wasn't.

Groaning, he rested his elbows on top of his notebook and let his hands cover his face, then slide up into his hair. He had been studying for hours and it seems as if he had gotten nowhere. Yeah, he could probably produce a functioning essay if he could have his notes with him, but at this rate, his final grade was going to be an F at best. There's only so much you can count on the curve for. He felt like the only solution was to bang his head against the wall and give up.

So he did.

He probably sat at his desk with his face violating the wall for a solid five minutes before he heard a key play with the lock outside. He picked his head up from the wall to turn around and see which apartment mate had just walked in. However, the look of defeat still held strong on his face.

"Jesus, Roxas, you look like hell."

Roxas, with prominent bags under his eyes, smiled slightly but sarcastically. "Hell is damn sexy."

Axel sighed tiredly, looking down, setting his keys on the counter and letting his backpack slide down his arm smoothly, onto the ground. He looked back up with an equally tired smile and began to walk over to the blond.

Upon reaching the still sitting male, the redhead wrapped his arms around the blond's shoulders and let his head rest on top of his golden locks. Roxas accepted the embrace by wrapping his own arms around Axel's waist and sighing dejectedly into the crook of his neck.

"I want to go to sleep, but this final is tomorrow," Roxas mumbled, just audible enough for Axel to make out.

The redhead lifted his face enough to gently kiss the top of Roxas's head, then put it back into place with an empathetic, "I know, Roxas. I know."

The two remained like that for a good ten minutes, making Axel believe that the smaller male had fallen asleep on him. But just as the thought entered his mind, Roxas let go of his embrace and turned back to his desk.

"Okay. One more hour, then I'm calling it quits."

Axel smirked a little before leaving the room, opting for his bed. Yeah, sure you will. "I'll see you in a few minutes, then."

Roxas stared blankly at his notebook, closing his eyes every so often to test his ability to stay awake.

His ability lacked results.

With a sigh of defeat, he closed his notebook and stood. He really wanted to study, but in reality, there was literally no way to focus. All he wanted to do was crawl into bed and forget about his problems in the arms of his boyfriend.

So he did.
