Haven frowned deeply. She'd been researching for days and had found absolutely nothing on Abbadon. She and the Winchesters had just settled into The Men of Letters bunker. She was thankful for that because she had her own room, which she stomped to after closing her laptop. When she opened her door, her jaw dropped. there were dozens of roses placed around the room. The room was also softly lit by candles. Her eyes landed on the archangel standing in the center of the room by her bed.
"Gabe...What is all this?" she asked quietly. Gabriel just smirked back at her.
"Well, sweet cheeks, you've been under a lot of stress lately with this whole Abbadon thing. I figured you needed a night off," he replied. The hunter flushed.
"You did this all for me?" Gabriel stepped forward and wrapped his hands around her waist.
"Of course I did. You're my girl and you deserve the best. I'm not gonna let some Hell Bitch get you down." He kissed her softly and all the tension melted out of her body. "It's just going to be us tonight." He waved his hand and the door shut and locked.
"What if Sam and Dean need me?" Haven asked.
"I'll keep an ear open and if it's anything important, I'll let you know. But from now and for the rest of the night, the door is locked and you won't be able to hear anything outside. Tonight is all about you relaxing." Haven blushed again.
"Okay. Thank you, Gabe," she said, kissing his chest. He grinned before pulling her to the bed. He got her comfortable and snapped his fingers, putting her in her favorite pajamas. She beamed as shes looked down at herself to see one of Gabriel's button downs and her favorite sweats. He climbed into the bed and waved his hand, causing a plate of chocolate covered strawberries and chocolate cake to appear. The TV clicked on and Casablanca, Haven's favorite movie, started.
"Now just relax and enjoy the night," Gabriel said, kissing her forehead. Haven settle in next to her archangel to watch the movie. He occasionally held a strawberry or a bite of cake to her lips. Towards the end of the movie, Haven was cuddled up next to Gabriel, her head on his chest and his arms around her shoulders.
"Thank you so much for tonight, Gabe. I really needed it," she said sleepily.
"I know you did. I can always tell when my girl has taken on too much. That's why I'm here. To help you relax," he replied with a gentle smile. He tilted her head up to kissed her softly. "I love ya, Haven." She grinned up at him.
"I love you, too," she said. She held her archangel tightly and drifted off to sleep.
