---Nothing can last forever---

It was raining outside.

Summer Roberts was all alone in her house and trying to fall asleep.

The doorbell rang and she waited for them to leave. They rang again and this time she dragged herself to the door.

As she opened the door she saw a familiar curly hair boy standing at her doorstep dripping wet.

She was excited at first but then a rush of anger came. So this was her awesome boyfriend. Leaving her for the summer and he thinks he can just have her back?

"Seth?"

"Uhm hi Summer"

She stared at him. He looked so nervous and sad. Well she wasn't about to go running into his arms.

"What are you doing here?"

"I wanted to apologize...you know for leaving you"

"Well then your wasting your time because I'm fine with you leaving..so why don't you just go home"

"Summer..I...I"

"You what Seth? Left me and come back and you expect me to understand?"

"Summer..please"

She could tell he was about to cry. She wanted to jump into his arms and tell him that she understood. That she loved him. But she couldn't and they both knew that.

She was close to tears and then took a deep breath

"Goodbye Seth"

And with that she slammed the door on his face.

Seth sighed as he walked away also close to tears. He knew she would be this way. He was an idiot for thinking everything would be the same.

He got into his car as the rain came down harder. He took a good look at the Roberts house as he began to drive off.

Nothing can last forever.
