I have no idea why I like this girl so much, but I decided she was interesting enough for my first drabble/one-shot series. In case you don't know, a "drabble" is any bit of prose lasting one sentence to 500 words. These particular drabbles are not in numerical order, but in order in which I wrote them. Read, enjoy, and review :)
#14. Sex
I wasn't like my sister or any of the other girls at Degrassi, but I was still curious about the things you were supposed to do with boys βor alone, as it seems. Kissing I understood, but everything else just seemed too gross or embarrassing to even think about. I mean, I've never been comfortable undressing in front of Darcy, much less in front of a boy! Still, as I said, I was curious and my mom was informative, but too technical. I wanted to know about the parts of sex and such that she would never tell me. I just didn't know who to ask.
#11. Name
I couldn't understand why Alli seemed to be proud of her new nickname β "Backwoods Bhandri." The school thinks she's a niner slut now, and she seems to like it! It made no sense. I know I would hate to be thought of as promiscuous. I guess that's just another thing that makes Alli and I different.
#22. Jealousy
I hated the way this dance was turning two good friends against each other. I could feel them staring at me, both wishing I'd turn around and inform them of my decision for a date. This shouldn't even be happening to someone like me. Darcy? Always. Alli? Probably. Boys fighting over the geeky smart girl? Never, ever happens β not even in the movies.
#5. Potatoes
The second mashed potatoes started flying, I began to wish that I wasn't wearing this stupid dry-clean-only uniform.
