Gundam Wing, one shot
1x2x1
It was then, with sun shinning in and the roof down, that Heero realized that some things may fall apart, but some things make you whole.
He had slept in the sun the other day and when he awoke he thought he was fine. He had a good job, a considerate and smart girlfriend, but something was utterly missing.
He had found what was missing that afternoon when he and Duo had driven out into the hill country.
He should have been thinking of Relena, thinking of the wild flowers they were driving passed, thinking of quantum physics, but that black fact is, he was thinking of Duo. He kept saying to him self, if I could kiss you now... I'd kiss you now, again and again...
Just the thought of not being able to know where he began and Duo ended was appealing.
He had tried so hard to love Relena. He did all that he could, but his heart wasn't whole. Not like with Duo.
Pulling over to the shoulder next to an enormous patch of blue bonnets, Heero turned off the engine and looked at his puzzled partner in the passenger seat.
"Heero?" Duo asked with a small confused smile.
Suddenly, the words just came to him. He leaned forward slowly and slid a hand along Duo's neck to dig his finger into his thick braid.
Duo's breath caught in his throat a moment before Heero gently, curiously pressed his lips to his. It was every thing he thought it would be.
He should have been thinking about the consequences, should have been thinking, what if this turned out to be wrong. He wasn't.
Heero was kissing Duo now, again and again and it felt so right.
Pulling back, Heero looked into Duo's flushed face. "I love you and you're beautiful."
Duo's smile could have split his face as he reached and pulled Heero back to him.
It was now, with the sun shining in and the roof down, as he was running kisses down every inch of Duo's naked spine, that Heero realized he found something that made him whole.
A/N: That was a quick one shot inspired by Moby's Where You End, one of my favorite songs.
