AN: Okay, so we're doing this poetry unit at school, so I figured, "What the hell? Might as well try to apply it to Death Note." Soooo…enjoy, I guess. Lots of different kinds of poems here…

Limerick:

There once was a boy named Light.
Challenged by L, he put up a fight.
He thought he had it all,
But he took a sudden fall
And still, he believes he's right.

Couplets:

He killed those who kill.
And he thinks that's God's will?

He opened wounds to be forever raw.
And yet they still scream, "He is law"?

Tricking those in his way.
And he still thinks he will continue to see the light of day?

He is one of the few to challenge L.
His worst mistake, can't he tell?

He becomes so obsessed.
Why doesn't he give "God" a rest?

Haiku (L-centric, if you can't tell):

Sitting in a chair
Never to get up again
He takes his last stand.

Acrostic:

Shoot, but a gun won't work.
Hell breaks loose.
Interested by a human.
Never will he kill again.
Inviting a human to kill.
Games they play mean nothing.

AN: Yeah, so that's the 5 kinds of poems we've covered so far. Hope you liked them, and it would make me very happy if you were to review, but don't flame. Flames make me sad…
