The Doctor, in his 11 regeneration, got stuck.

The same thing that had happened with Amy before was happening again now. The TARDIS decided to just… leave. No warning. Unfortunately, Clara got knocked unconscious, seeing as this time the takeoff had been very violent. Thankfully, she woke up. 2 days later. The Doctor, when he got word from her that she was awake, he realized that he would be there awhile. Mostly because she told him that the TARDIS landed again, just a year later. It landed on February 2, 2014. One year exactly. For The Doctor, he just had to remember to meet her in a year. He didn't want to risk Clara getting hurt or lost… or being stuck forever.

He got a job. The Doctor, only 2 months after the… crash, had a job. He was working in a department store. Here he was, an employee at Spencer's department store in London, England. He was restocking some hats and scarves near the door that they were trying to sell, when a redheaded woman walked in with an old man. The Doctor, immediately recognizing this person as Donna Noble, took off his nametag saying " The Doctor" and proceeded to drop it on the floor. Donna walked over with the old man, whom The Doctor recognized as Wilfred Mott, and asked him directions.

"Excuse me, sorry to bother you, but these places are bloody huge. Could you show me to the baby clothes section? I just had a daughter. Her name is Rose. My granddad named her… are you ok?" The Doctor, upon hearing that Wilfred had named her Rose, had to turn his head so that she didn't see the small stream of tears slowly coming out of his eyes. He quickly wiped the tears away. " Yes I'm fine, thanks. It's just… allergies. Sorry, you said baby clothes?"

During this encounter, neither of them saw the old man pick up The Doctors nametag. And neither of them saw the tears starting to come out of his eyes as well./

Once they got to the section they needed, The Doctor started leaving, but Wilfred stopped him. "Is there anything else you need?" asked The Doctor. "Your eyes are tearing up, are you ok?" "Doctor, you dropped your nametag. Thought you might want it back. Been a while."

Both men started to tear up right then. "Do you ladies need a tissue or can we get on with it?" Oh, Donna, thought The Doctor.
