Ally sat at the cash register of sonic boom. She held her pencil and was scribbling madly in her notebook. The new song she was writing was coming along great. Ally began to hum as she worked. She didn't mind how she was the only person who acted this way. Especially when the store was really busy, she hummed as loud as her shy personality let her.
"Hey, miss!" Someone yelled. "I need you to listen to me! I got to wrap this up before my grandson comes you hear?" The man yelled for two minutes.
Ally looked up. "Oh, I'm sorry did you say something?" She could hear the man growl. "I was so caught up in my book I didn't notice you. Here, you want that wrapped, right?"
The man nodded. "I need you to hurry. My grandson will be at my house in ten minutes! Please hurry!" He opened his wallet and dumped it on the counter. "Just keep the change!" he cried running to the parking lot.
Austin and Dez walked into the shop. "What was that all about?" Dez asked. "I hardly can guess what the guy was doing here!"
"Don't be silly," Ally told him. "He was doing what any ordinary person would do if they came here. He was buying an instrument. A guitar for his grandson. Isn't that sweet?" She picked up her book and placed it on the counter. "Besides, we have to return his wallet to him. He just dumped it on the counter without saying a word about it. Except for 'keep the change!'"
Trish bounded into sonic boom. "Guess who got a job at Penny's Pizza?" She asked. "So how's the song going?"
"Oh it's O.K. but, I need a quiet place to work. For the past few minutes I've been helping this old man but I haven't gotten any basic idea down." She grabbed a strand of her hair and began to chew on it. Then Ally studied Trish's new outfit.
Trish was wearing a giant pizza that had all sorts of toppings. Even popcorn! Her dark curly hair tumbled onto her shoulders which led to a big mushroom arm band. She was holding a plate with flyers and on her head, rested a large hat with pasta piled over the top.
Austin grinned. "You know what?" He said. "I have this feeling something big is going to happen today."
Just then a blond haired woman whipped out. She grabbed a hammer and crushed the register open just enough so that she could stuff her hands with cash.
