Always Yours.
ProudToBe-LimpingTwerp
This is my first fic in Criminal mines. Not really a surprise that I love this pairing if you've read my other stories. Anyway, it's really short. Mostly cuz I wanted to do a quote fic at 4:30 in the morning when I couldn't sleep. Be Gentle!
Disclaimer: Sadly, I don not. Wish I did though!

"If you love someone, let them go..."-Spencer
Aaron Hotchner had been counting the months, the weeks, the days, hours, minutes, and even seconds. It was getting harder to wake up. Reid had left precisely four months, two weeks, three days, seven hours, and thirty-two minutes ago. He wasn't going to go into seconds… He missed him. He loved him.
Hotch was walking home. He was rounding the bend to his house. He wouldn't glance up. Every single day since Spencer had left Hotch had always glanced up, hoping he'd see the young doctor waiting for him. He had given up today.
As he approached his place, still not looking up, he muttered under his breath, "I guess he never was mine…"
"Oh, I wouldn't bet too much on that," told a familiar voice.
Hotch's head jolted up to see a familiar figure sitting on the stone in front of his place. His breath caught. It sounded like Spencer. The younger man got to his feet and stepped into the sun. Sandy shaggy hair gleamed in the setting sun. Bright gold eyes met his. A thin wispy figure leaned cautiously and fearfully against the side of the place. He looked like Spencer. Reid was waiting for him to tell him he's moved on. But the words Hotch had spoken had given him child like hope. He acted like Spencer.
Hotch had frozen on the path toward his door. He had to say it aloud. "Spencer?"
Spencer took a couple steps forward. It was definitely him. Spencer looked fearfully up at Hotch. Again, as if he was expecting him to turn him out. Hotch met his gaze with the same fear, but for the chance Spencer wanted to officially move on.
Reid took a breath and with precarious courage walked up to the older man. Looking up to him, he whispered. "I was always yours, Aaron. Always." whispered the younger man. Aaron's eyes sparked brightly. He took a step forward and cautiously pressed the side of his palm to his cheek cupping his face lovingly.
"Does that mean your back?"
Spencer leaned up on tiptoes and pressed his lips to Aarons lovingly. Aaron gasped and grabbed the younger man's waist, fully enjoying the searing kiss. When they broke they remained in each other's arms. Gasping, Aaron whispered huskily, "Is that a yes?"
"No." gasped back Spencer.
Aaron felt absolutely paralyzed for a moment until Spencer broke out into one of those full-fledged grins that never failed at making Hotch grin back.
"That's a HELL YES," laughed the doctor as he kissed the older man again.
And true to form, Aaron Hotchner grinned into that kiss, unable to resist the power of Spencer grinning ear to ear, but having the young doctor back in his arms helped just a bit too….
