A/N: Ok, I realize this is super short (like uber short) but I really liked it, so Ima post it anyways. Tell me if you like this metaphor, and R+R!

She was fire, he was ice. He chased after her, but they both knew she was unattainable because every time he saw her flame of fiery red-hot hair, he melted. Ice can freeze, but it can't freeze fire. She could see right through him, see how flustered he was every time he sidled up to her all cool and nonchalant. She took the coldness right out of him the times she actually decided to give him the time of day. She took he coldness right out of him and stuck it into her icy glare. All he was left with was the heat from her and he would start to drown in it. He found he couldn't breathe, when her fire started to consume all his oxygen. This was why he still chased after her. He was addicted to that feeling the moment when she took his breath away. Lily Evans was fire, and James Potter was ice, he'd let her melt him a million times, because he wouldn't have it any other way.
