Hey everyone! This is my first fanfic ever, so reviews and constructive critisizm would be awesome! I hope you enjoy my story, mind you the chapters will get longer as the story progresses. Thanks !! -c

Ever since I was kid, I dreamt of being a surfer.

I remember carrying my board around with me everywhere I went. Whether it was just a trip down by the seashore, or in my house, my board was always with me. My dad was the person who bestowed upon me my love for surfing. He taught me everything I know today. From simply riding the waves, going into the swells, and waxing my board. He was truly and amazing person.

"Hey Bindi!" My mom called making me snap back to reality. "So are you going to catch some waves after school or not?" She asked while putting on her white sneakers. "Yeah, with ku'u and Shea. I said happily." Ok, just make sure that you're back by 7 ok?" She said as she grabbed her keys off of the key rack by the door "Yeah sure thing mom." I said. "Are you going to be home late tonight? I thought I'd invite a few people over for awhile." "Yeah sure thing, but you know the rules. " Yeah, yeah I know. See ya later." After she walked out of the door I went to the bathroom to take a shower. I lathered my mango shampoo through my hair, relishing the warmth of the hot water. After I was done bathing I walked into my room. White curtains hung low on the floor, and green blue ocean wallpaper with seashell necklaces were everywhere in the room. I quickly dried my brown shoulder length hair and changed into a pair of tan Bermuda shorts, a purple tank top, some black etnees, and a shell necklace. I put some purple eyeliner and mascara on, and then looked in the mirror. My head was adorned with light sandy brown hair, and dark green eyes, which I guess I inherited from my father. I grabbed my surf board and my backpack, and headed out the door with my key. When I was completely outside, I juggled my belongings, locked the door, and then started on my way to school. As I walked, I could smell the salty ocean air, and hear the cawing of seagulls, and the crashing of the waves. "Wow this was going to be and awesome day." Or so I thought….
