Morncreek's 2008 A/N: The formatting of this work has been modified by FFN due to the site retroactively applying its formatting restrictions. I have restored as much as possible, by circumventing as much as possible. Any ugly formatting, therefore, is FFN's fault and not mine.
Hello! I got this up just the way I promised. Please read my other works (I'm not asking you to read a novel; I have only three other works that are poem/song) .
Disclaimer: This was written with the "Yu-Gi-Oh! Graphic Novel - Vol. 1" published by Shonen Jump in mind. I claim no part of it as my own work; I simply incorporated a phrase from it. I receive no money for doing this. (Now let's see them try and sue me!)

What I Dream
Written 6 August 2003
Wishing on a star
Did not work,
Nor dreaming
For eight years.
I was determined
To find it; Anzu said
My heart was in it.
I just agreed,
Not truly knowing what
She meant.
Until one day
When I stood in
Front of Jônouchi ¹ and Honda -
Protecting them in spite of
Their bullyings.
...Friends who could count on me..
No matter what...!! ²
I believe that
Is when the Puzzle
Accepted my offering
(Though I did not know
I was doing so)
And gave
Its own offering in turn.
Now my wish is come true.
Anzu, Jônouchi, Honda and Yami -
Thank you.
