Eisenheim pulled Sophie into the small hut that he had made for her. Then he took his hand away from her eyes and she looked around. Her eyes took in everything that was to be seen, the small fire circle with a hole in the roof for smoke, the cups and pitcher that were in the corner of the hut.

"Eisenheim, I love it!" Sophie flung her arms around Eisenheim's neck. "Thank you so much!" Sophie leaned forward to kiss him, but he held her back. "Oh, sorry… I didn't mean to…sorry." Sophie said, moving back away from him.

"It's fine. Really." He said and walked into the hut. "Do you want some water? I just got some from the spring a while ago." Sophie nodded. Eisenheim poured some water from the pitcher into two cups and handed one to Sophie.

"My father is expecting me home by dark. So I have to leave in a little while." Sophie said, taking a sip of water.

"I'll walk you back. You might get lost." Eisenheim smiled at her. She smiled back.

"I am perfectly capable to walk myself home. But you can walk me home if you really want." She said

"Well, I do."

"Okay, but we mustn't be seen, or my father will have you killed. I am not allowed to even talk to you or look at you."

"I know." There was a long pause as the two friends drank their water. Then,

"We had better go. It will be dark soon." Eisenheim opened the door of the hut and walked outside. Sophie followed him. She shivered. Eisenheim took off his cloak and put it over Sophie's shoulders and he lead her away from the hut. When they got to the edge of the forest, Sophie turned to Eisenheim.

"Thank you so much for the hut. I really do love it. Can I see you again tomorrow?"

"Of coarse. I can meet you here tomorrow morning if you would like." Sophie nodded.

"I would like that." Sophie looked at him for a second, then, ignoring the warning signs, she kissed Eisenheim. He jumped, but didn't stop her. She finally pulled away and walked away down the street.
