Chapter 1
Clean Your Room!
Ken wasn't sure when he'd started caring about what a mess Daisuke's room was. It probably had something to do with how clean he kept his own bedroom by comparison, or more likely- that he was sleeping over more frequently, which meant sleeping on the floor with dirty socks and underwear.
Ken really didn't want to sound rude by saying anything, but his inner neat freak could only take so much.
Today it was really getting to him. Daisuke had invited him to stay over. Ken probably should have expected Daisuke to just throw his socks on the floor. It was perfectly normal behavior except Ken wondered how any person- even somebody as dense as Daisuke could fail to notice that the amount of dirty laundry on the floor had accumilated into a small mountain.
Ken's borderline OCD finally won out.
"Don't you think you should clean your room?" he blurted out.
Daisuke gawked at him.
"No offense!" Ken added quickly, mentally kicking himself for letting that one slip out.
Daisuke gave him a skeptical look, quirking an eyebrow.
"Dude, did you just tell me to clean my room?"
"Um... maybe?" Ken managed.
Daisuke smirked in amusement, bending down enough to pick up a sock.
"Wanna see if I can make a goal?" he asked, indicating the dirty clothes basket in the corner.
"Sure," Ken replied with a small smile.
Daisuke grinned and tossed the article carefully, watching the throw make its target.
"Man Daisuke, you are just so good at sockball," Ken teased.
"You try," Daisuke snickered, holding out a pair of his dirty underwear.
"You've lost it," Ken said, scooting away from him. "I am not touching those!"
"Come on, like you've never fantasized about touching my underwear," he joked, waggling his eyebrows suggestively.
"I have not!" Ken insisted, giving him a playful shove.
Daisuke grinned like an idiot, making Ken huff and fold his arms, but it was only half-hearted.
"Oh come on Ken," Daisuke pouted. "Don't be like that."
Ken relented, facial features softening.
"Alright," he sighed. "Come on! I'll help you clean... "
