Slugging inside from the frigging cold, Korra dropped her bag and kicked her shoes into the corner. Sighing, she ripped the zipper down on her jacket and just threw it over the rack on her left. She slipped the woolen hat from her head, setting it on the nearby ledge along with her keys. Picking up the bag she had dropped, she walked down the hall and opened a door, gently tossing the bag inside. She closed the door only to have its handle pop right off and fall to the floor with a 'clink'. Korra groaned as she kicked the door, hissing and jumping around holding it as pain shot through her leg. Maybe kicking a door with a broken leg wasn't the best idea she had.
As the pain settled down to a bearable state, she picked up the handle and walked into the kitchen, not even bothering trying to fix it; that was more Asami's place. Setting the handle down a little too hard, Korra made a small knick in the counter top. She made a frustrated noise similar to that of screaming and grunting, and slamming her head onto the counter. Asami was going to kill her now, a broken handle and a messed up countertop, she mine as well just change her name to Kyoshi and move to an island with weird animals in the water. She pulled her head up and slouched her way over to the coach, intent on trying to sleep before her wife came home and saw what happened.
Just as Korra was about lay on the couch, the front door opened up and the clinking of keys against the
handle were heard. Eyes going wide, Korra laid down on the coach and closed her eyes quickly, praying to the spirits that her wife was in a good mood and would let her off on this one. She heard Asami walk in and go into the kitchen; hearing the fridge open Korra's eyes squeezed shut, hoping she wouldn't notice. She heard footsteps clink down the hall from Asami's heels, breathing a sigh of relief Korra opened her eyes only to shriek at what was in front of her. Her wife was standing there holding the broken handle, smirking as she looked at the blushing girl. Shaking her head, Asami walked down the hall and to the closet door, putting the handle back in its place before walking away. Korra sighed again before slumping back down onto the couch.
How was it? I know it had no dialogue, given the fact this was for an English assignment for exaggeration. But of course, this was given the same week Korrasami became cannon and I have no self control. I do this for for every English assignment.
