Hinata was currently attempting to pull up the zipper on the back of her lilac bridesmaid dress. Much to her disappointment it would not budge. She sighed and let the two sides of the dress fall revealing the cause of her problem. Her rather large and annoying bust was in the way of getting this dress to completely zip up. Hinata was beyond frustrated. She was already running late and this was the final straw.
She had been asked personally by both Naruto and Sakura to be a bridesmaid in their wedding. The spring wedding was sure to be perfect set just as the cherry blossoms would be in bloom. She was glad that they thought to ask her and they both seemed so genuinely happy. Her love for Naruto was one that would never truly fade. He was her first crush, the first person to really encourage her. He believed in her when all she wanted to do was disappear. He was her light at the end of the tunnel, one that was full of sadness, anger, and guilt. Her father had barely spoke to her except when he needed to tell her that she was the family screw up. He never failed to remind her. Her sister was off in her own little world being daddies perfect little princess, not that Hinata could really blame her. Neji had gone so far as to try and kill her, he hated her that much. Naruto was one of the only people who noticed her and she wanted nothing more than for her long time crush to be happy. Sakura was a long-time friend who was very kind to her and willing to listen to her when she needed her. They were obviously perfect for each other. They complimented each other in ways that Hinata noticed immediately.
Hinata had long since moved on from her childhood crush, leaving in its place the feeling of a warm loving friendship. She admired Naruto and knew he would get very far in his aspirations to not only become Hokage but to have his dream family. She was quite content in the little family that she was building. She was excited to see the wedding Sakura had dreamed about for years. She hoped that her wedding would be just as extravagant as Sakura's. If she ever got her damn dress to zip up that is. Suddenly an idea came to her after another failed attempt at the zipper.
"Sasuke, can you come here for a second?!" she shouted out of the bathroom door.
Her handsome fiancé sauntered into the room looking quite amused at her predicament. He leaned over and began kissing her sensitive neck. She swatted him away and held the dress together as her pulled the zipper up for her.
"Are you ready to go now or should I tell them we won't be going?" he suggested with a smirk.
"Stop that, let's go before they get too mad that the best man is late." She tugged at his arm turning off the light before they left. Sasuke just shrugged and followed his beautiful fiancé to the car making sure to tell her just how good she looked.
