Ok, so this is a bit random. The first part is so-so, but it does get better. Promise.

I walk into Stan and my dorm room after yet another boring, painful, mood-wrecking sociology class. I set my books down on my desk, and notice a piece of paper.

I fell in love with you,

Not exactly at first sight,

Still,

I`ll forever remember that night.

We arrived at the party,

Tokens to be exact,

You sat at the bar,

Sipping your whiskey,

I caught a glimmer,

A shine,

Of an emerald green eye.

In that exact moment,

I knew,

That you were the one for me,

And I,

For you.

When we were seven-teen,

I asked you out,

And you confessed,

I was the one you were crazy about.

We went off to the same college,

Although you could have done better,

You couldn't settle,

With only talking to me through a letter.

We lay in our dorm,

Talking through the night,

About our future,

Our school work,

Whatever else came to mind.

Our love grew,

As we did.

We never grew apart,

Only closer together.

Our love made my heart,

Lighter than a feather.

We sat in our classes,

Passing notes back,

And forth.

On our third anniversary,

Which is today,

I`ll add a new chapter,

By asking you to-

"Marry me?" Stan whispered in my ear.

I whipped around. He was kneeling on the ground, ring in hand, huge grin on his handsome face.

"Of course." I murmured, and launched myself into his arms.
