Hello again to everyone! Sorry for my short midterms hiatus. In response for an apology for my absence, I made a little something for you all to read while I finish up Chapter 9 of Little White Rose.

So yesterday I was brought to realize that my parents are just like James and Lily Potter! Well, their love story, at least. My dad, being like James, would be the trouble-maker and the most witty of his group of friend and ever girl in school would die to go out with him. On the other hand, my mom, being like Lily, was studious and would always be interrupted by my dad flirting with her.

So here I made a short fanfiction about them based on a true event that happened to them. My dad has told me this story so many times so here it is. I just dramatizied it a tiny bit for more of a Jily kind of effect. Enjoy!

. The current of the strong river pushed the boys like rag dolls. Barb wire and other rotting trash lingered at the bottom of the rocky water. The boy who went into the treacherous waters first, the thrill seeker of the group, was trying his best not to get crushed by the tide or sharp rocks. A stinging pain went across his leg as barb wire caught onto it.

"Nicolas!" The raspy scream emenated from the boy trying to call for his friend.

"Oh my god!" A girl's voice replied in return as his head submerged underwater.

They had only came to have a little fun, but it ended up as though Hell itself was trying to drown them with its ferocious obstacles in the river. He heard others boys screaming, slowly they die down as he is left in the mess. Without knowing what would happen to him next, the water took him down from the surface. A muffled sound came from the top, though he couldn't make out what it was.

Suddenly, something grabbed onto his wrist and tugged with all its might. Surfacing, he saw the girl he would always look for in the halls, always trying to grab her attention. The girl who was saving him from a crushing tragedy that lied at the end of the river. More guys, his friends, came by her and to her aid as they were able to pull him out.

Gagging and coughing, the boy looked up at the girl with bright eyes as a sharp pain came to his cheek.

"What was that for?" He exclaimed, rubbing the place where she slapped him.

"You scared me half to death!"

"Only half to death? Well, I better jump back in there." Chuckling and trying to ignore the pain in his leg from the cuts of barb wire, the boy grinned up at her.

"Were you crying for me?" She blushed furiously.

"You nearly drowned and this is what you're thinking about!" The girl quickly grabbed everything she put on the side to help the handsome boy and marched away.

"Idiots!" She shouted at them, giving the boy a glare. Though the boys were injured and struck in many places with barb wire, the one boy had a wound that couldn't be mended by medicine or a bandage. The place in his heart that opened itself to let her in.
