The sun was quickly setting beyond the forest, now nearly gone behind the horizon and to soon have no trace of it left.
Night was beginning to engulf the world and all those who did not wish for a confrontation were now locking themselves up in their homes.
Only one was brave enough to venture out at this time of night.
Haruno Sakura was sitting down in a patch of flowers in the grove of Sakura Trees that resided in the forest of Konoha. It was her special place, no one knew of it's existence except her. She's been coming here more often at night these days, her insomnia getting a little worse everyday. Though that didn't stop her from training her ass off to get stronger. And she was definitely getting stronger. She's almost finished her training under Tsunade as well as creating her new jutsu's. Yes a lot has changed...
Her friendship with Naruto has been a topic of decision as of late, sure they've gotten closer and are much better friends then they use to be, in fact, she looks to him like one would an admired older brother. Some people think that they'll start dating anytime now, no matter how many times they're told that it won't happen. They don't see each other in that light.
Sakura sighed as she continued to think upon the changes that have occurred, wishing that she herself had someone...Sasuke...
Heaving another sigh she pushed herself to her feet, she needs to get some sleep, she has training with Kakashi and the others tomorrow and she wants to show them, prove to them that she's not weak anymore, that she doesn't need them to constantly protect her.. she'll prove that tomrrow ..to everyone.. to him.
Strangely she's been thinking a little less about Sasuke, maybe because it's because she felt he was right, that she should spend less time on him and more time training, maybe then he'll see her and dump Ino. Maybe if she can prove herself by beating him, he'll finally see her..
Though another part of her wanted to prove something to someone else, another guy that would be there, watching..
Although she herself wasn't sure about that. "Let's see what tomorrow brings." She said as she finally laid down to sleep.
