"Sure you don't need help with that baby?" Danny asked cautiously as he watched his very pregnant wife attempt to put on her socks. Her mood swings had been out of control lately.

"I'm fine Dan." Lindsay said sternly as she licked her lips and watched him dry off, as soon as he walked in the door she jumped him, hours later he stood in front of her with just a towel and she was struggling to put her socks on.

"Just trying to help babe." He said and placed a kiss to her forehead as she got the left foot on and moved to the right, her prominent belly getting in her way with every movement. He knew she wanted to be independent, if he had a nickel for every time she told him that she was pregnant not incapable, he'd be a very rich man.

"I know." She grunted as he got dressed and left the room. "Finally." She said as she stood with both socks on her feet and headed towards the bathroom. She admired her stomach in the mirror and rubbed her hand over her and Danny's growing boy. She took another step onto the shaggy rug and water seeped into her socks and she let out a small cry.

She sat down on the edge of the tub, hung her head and cried. She moved her feet out in front of her and stared at her socks.

"Montana, what's wrong?" Danny asked as he kneeled in front of her and took her face in his hands, obviously concerned.

"Danny, do you really hate me that much?" she asked her tear filled eyes locking with is confused blue ones.

"What in the hell are you talking about Lindsay?" Danny asked as he looked around the bathroom for any sign of disturbance on his part. "You know I love you."

"I always tell you to dry off in the shower so my socks don't get soaked," she started but stopped when he went to wipe away her tear. "Because you know I hate that. Now after it took me ten minutes to get my socks on, they're soaked and I have to get new ones."

"I'm sorry Linds, I didn't mean it." Danny said not daring to mention the fact that he had dried off in the shower and the mess of water on the rug was her fault after she jumped out when he had gotten home, and then proceeded to jump his bones.

"I know, I'm just a mess." Lindsay said shaking her head and kissing him gently on the lips, pulling away she gave him a small smile.

"But you're my mess." He said kissing her more deeply.
