Can we keep him?
"Can we keep him?" Blaine asking cooing over the chubby, flat-faced kitten that was currently tumbling around his feet. Blaine quickly scooped the kitten up touching his nose its nose and grinning when it began to purr loudly and placed its front paws onto his cheeks.
"No." Kurt replayed in a clipped tone looking intently at his lap top screen as he focused on his homework.
"But"-
"No, Blaine." Blaine sighed exasperatedly, clutching the kitten close as he crawled onto the couch next to Kurt thrusting the kitten in front of his face.
"But look at his face, Kurt, he need a home!" Kurt stared grudgingly at the ball of fluff before him as the kitten blinked back with wide blue eyes and purred loudly once again.
"See cute, I even have a good name for him!" Kurt quirked a brow as he glanced at his boyfriend then back to the kitten. Blaine moved the kitten into his lap petting it with such care that Kurt's heart melted slightly at the sight. But not enough to actually keep the kitten of course.
"Muffins!" He said brightly tapping the kitten's nose lightly with his index finger. The kitten mewled back batting at his hands as it rolled in his lap playfully.
"Ohhh you like that name don't you Muffins? Yes you do!" He continued to coo in a voice similar to how you would talk to a baby, rubbing its belly as Kurt stared at him as if he was crazy.
"Blaine, really? Muffins? We're not keeping him. Kittens grow into cats, and cats are expensive. You have to get them food and get them fixed and god knows what else. Plus they shed everywhere and litter boxes smell horrid. My apartment is not going to smell like cat litter." Kurt reasoned shutting his lap top with a very serious expression. But really his heart was still in the process of melting at the sight of his boyfriend doting over the kitten. It wouldn't be that bad to have a kitten would it? Not if Blaine smiled liked that.
"Come on Kurt, please! I promise I'll take care of him, please, please, please"-
"Fine, just stop saying please." Kurt snapped and Blaine quickly hugged the kitten before placing it carefully on the ground then launching himself at Kurt latching to the other boy's side.
"Oh thank you, thank you, thank you! I love you so, so much!" Blaine murmured, peppering kisses all over Kurt face. Finally he planted one to his lips, kissing his boyfriend before pulling back with a grin.
"And so does Muffins!" He said in a chipper tone bouncing up from the couch and diving for the kitten was currently sniffing the bookshelf that was in the corner of the room. The kitten jumped but Blaine swiftly picked him up and tugged him close to his chest making soft cooing noises.
