Happy days
"No!" Kurt shrieked as he side stepped away from his boyfriend who lunged at him again chocolate cake batter coating his fingers.
"You did it to me!" He huffed in defense pointing to his nose where the cake batter had been smeared.
"Well that's because you're easy to trick." He teased laughing at the look of fake hurt Blaine shot at him. Kurt rolled his eyes as Blaine continued to pout his lower lip sticking out and he made huge puppy eyes.
"Oh stop." Kurt sighed as he leaned down to check on the cake. He experimentally stuck a tooth pick in it pulling it cleanly out. Deeming it ready he pulled it out sliding it smoothly onto the counter and he turned the oven off.
"Hmmmm smells delicious. Can't we just eat it now?" Blaine asked looking at the cake longingly and he stood next to Kurt.
"No, we have to wait for it to cool. Then we can frost it." Kurt replied and Blaine sighed loudly.
"Come on, I know something we can do while we wait." He murmured stepping closer to Blaine and kissing to tip of his nose and licking his lips at the taste of cake batter.
"Oh, okay." Kurt chuckled softly taking Blaine's hand and intertwining their fingers and he started to pull him into the living room and Blaine's house.
Close to an hour later they were back in the kitchen frosting the cake, Blaine finally managing to get frosting on Kurt's cheek. Once properly frosted Blaine wasted no time in getting plates and forks out and Kurt began cutting the cake in perfect slices. They sat side by side at Blaine's kitchen table legs bumping underneath the table as they eat in comfortable silence.
"I love you" Kurt breathed turning his head so he was staring into warm hazel eyes.
"I love you too" Blaine whispered back pressing a soft kiss to Kurt's lips.
