I know this poem is a bit short, but I haven't written poetry for years. Forgive me if it sucks completely. Or don't forgive me, whatever.

Goldbury, river daughter

Sitting idly by the water.

Along came Bombadil,

His voice a cheerful trill;

And he stole the maiden's heart.

Love was their only quest

Amid trees of the Old Forest,

And there they made their home.

Tom vowed never to roam

Too far from his love's heart.

I know that was awful. Please excuse my shocking spelling of names; I'm just too lazy to look them up in the book so I can spell them properly.
