Moonlight
(A Hakkai x Gojyo Shonen Ai/Yaoi)
Hakkai put the last of the used dishes onto the drying rack. Sighing he glanced at the clock. 8:25 PM. He took the food intended for Goyjo and put in the refrigerator.
After he had lain in his bed for roughly half an hour Hakkai sighed and sat up. "Hm, perhaps a walk would do me some good?" Nodding he grabbed his jacket and a scarf. As he opened the door he considered leaving Goyjo a note but then decided against it. "It's his own fault for not being here on time." He said and set off at a brisk pace.
As he neared the top of a hill he looked into the sky and touched his scar. "Kanan…will you ever forgive me?" He asked closing his eyes. He lay back against a tree and pulled out his pocket watch, he'd never gotten it repaired but it still worked. He closed his eyes and thought of how he'd been foolish. What would she have said if he had just let himself die? He shivered a bit, turning his head, he thought he heard footsteps of a lone figure. As the figure came into view he also thought of how if he had died, he'd never met Goyjo. Then the figure was illuminated by the moonlight and Hakkai sighed.
Gojyo grinned and offered a hand to Hakkai. "Always tell'n me I'm late and here you are." Said the red head. Hakkai leaned on Gojyo as he caught his balance and replied with a laugh. "Yes, but you are late nearly every night. I deserved at least one night when I can be too." "Yeah, yeah." Goyjo pulled out his lighter and lit a cigarette. "Gojyo, please refrain from smoking in my presence." Hakkai said with a mock frown on his face. "Tch, why the hell should I?" Asked Gojyo. Hakkai pulled the cigarette from Gojyo's mouth, "Because I asked you to." Sighing Goyjo put his hands in his pockets and looked up at the sky. Hakkai glanced at the moon, "Mmm, rather romantic tonight? I'm surprised you didn't bring someone home tonight." "Nah," Gojyo said, "that is reserved for someone else tonight. Hakkai wrapped his arms around Gojyo. "I'm glad." Gojyo put a hand on Hakkai head and they proceeded back to the house randomly chatting.
Hakkai's coat hung on its customary place on a hook on the door and Gojyo was also in it's customary place, the floor. A light was on in the bedroom and soft moans could be heard from inside.
Gojyo nibbled Hakkai's ear and whispered, "Do you feel better now?" Hakkai nodded into the pillow his head rested on. Goyjo's hands traveled down along Hakkai's spine and Hakkai gave a gasp. "Something th' matter?" Asked Gojyo shifting his position slightly. "Yes," replied Hakkai, "your hands are cold." "Wha?" Gojyo said removing his hands and touching them to his own face. "No they're no-" He was cut off as Hakkai swiftly took advantage of Goyjo distraction to flip their positions. "You know, you are a demon in the guise of a nice guy Hakkai." Gojyo said crossly. "Well we both knew that," said Hakkai smirking, "now then." He crooked a finger under Gojyo's chin. "What next? Let's see the last score was 4 to 5 I believe." Gojyo groaned. "Dude, we're gonna be so damn sore in the morning!" Hakkai blew his hair out of his face and shrugged. "It was your turn to buy the lube. It's not my fault that you didn't. I don't see any reason to stop the fun just because of your discomfort." Gojyo sighed and resigned himself to the fact that Hakkai wasn't going to cease his idea and said, "Whatever. Just, don't go crazy like last time okay?" Hakkai nodded and grinned. The lights went out.
