Waiting…
He wasn't perfect… he wanted and desired her to the point of no return. He'd never had such a need for any girl like this. He craved her soft touches and sweet kisses. The moments they stole away were the ones he anticipated the most.
Every moment away from her was like time wasted. Nothing mattered now but drinking in her beauty. He no longer cared about his father's agenda. His dislike of his son's choice of love mattered not to him. When he wasn't with her his world turned grey and he almost forgot to breath.
Draco loved Ginny Weasley with all his heart. He knew she wanted to wait before giving into their desires. He wanted to wait too but with her taunting beauty it was near impossible. Her scent of spice and jasmine left him heady with want. Looking at her, with her alluring curves nearly drove him crazy.
Late at night, when they were snogging in front of the fireplace with her hair shimmering red and orange like the flames themselves. He could taste the tantalizing sweetness of red wine on her lips. Her touch was making him come undone. He wanted her more than he ever had. Her kisses intoxicated him and her soft touches were beyond exhilarating. He was so wrapped up in the intensity of the moment that he forgot all about waiting.
That's when she stopped him, pulled back from him. It exasperated him as it always did. "Please Ginny…" he begged her, "I want you so bad. After all, For Merlin's sake I'm a man!" It took all her control as she looked up into his lust filled eyes.
"Well, no one's perfect." she whispered. He let out a frustrated sigh and pouted like a small boy.
"Draco my love, when it does happen I want it to be perfect. I want it to reflect our love and commitment to one another. When it finally happens, you will be a man and I'll be the woman you've chosen to share a perfect future with. We don't need our hormones to get in the way of that." He looked up at her and ceased his pouting. He was so lucky to have a woman who loved him so much.
Finally, he could see that she was right. He pulled her back into his embrace, gently kissing the top of her head and whispered the three words he hated to say, "We can wait…"
