He wasn't even quite sure what had happened between being sealed up in the stone and being released by a pair of twins who so desperately wanted his power for their own. Their arguing and fighting over him and unbalance in their hearts caused the stone to crack despite everything his two apprentices were doing to stop them.
At first there was silence. He'd been able to hear what was going on, but only mumbles like far away voices, and then he was cold. So cold, like the very thing he was had been stripped from him, leaving only an emptiness that expanded from his chest to his fingers and toes.
It hurt.
He reached up to feel his chest, only to find pale skin and oversized clothes, and a touch so cold he let out a cry.
His breathing heaved like he'd just ran for miles without stopping. A Ninetales...who...who was that…. It breathed fire at one of the two Pokemon standing around, and a Marowak bowled over the other. They chased the two out, and try as he might to keep his eyes open, he couldn't. He cried, slamming his head into the ground, anything to relieve this unfamiliar pain and emptiness.
The last thing he remembered doing was bellowing a scream so loud and so painful the mountain shook. His claws dug into the stone, his back arched, and at the warm touch of the Ninetales, he collapsed.
Shinzu: Long time no see, friends! If you guys remember Let Sleeping Arcanines Lie, well, you're in for a treat. *u* I decided to reboot it after all of these years set in an AU Pokemon world I've been building for a few years now, though this one in particular is a reboot of said world lmao. However, this is also an /AU/ of my world, as I'm not sure yet I'd like to split my original dragon Darwin. Hopefully that isn't too much information, gosh! Take this as canon if you'd like if you aren't interested in the world! Enjoy! And if you'd like to see more of this world I'm found on Tumblr at asktheoriginaldragon, jupiters-club, askarianagarbodor, and asktwingarchomp!
