Hidden Treasure.
This story belongs to my made-up Charlie's Angels stories, where Jill, Sabrina, Kelly and Kris are all a team at the same time.
Disclaimer: I do not own the Angels or Bosley or Charlie, they belong to Spelling/Goldberg Productions.
It was Monday morning, exactly 8am, when Sabrina turned the key in the lock of Townsend Associates; she placed her handbag on the desk and walked over to the bar.
She suspected something was hidden behind the bar, as Kris had been acting very strange lately…
"I told you, I'm making the drinks!" Kris exclaimed as she stood behind the small bar.
Jill shrugged, "At least I offered," she jabbed her thumb at Kelly and Sabrina, who were engrossed in a game of chess.
"Checkmate," Sabrina grinned.
"That's the 12th time you've beaten me this week!" Kelly exclaimed, smiling and leaning back in her chair.
"You might win next time," Sabrina replied, packing away the chessboard.
Then, Bosley arrived, briefcase in hand.
"Something important going on, Bos?" Kris asked, passing him a drink, then taking a seat on the couch.
"Yes, Charlie called me earlier. He wants the paperwork from last year re-read, as he suspects somebody is stalking him," Bosley answered, taking a seat at his desk.
"That's terrible, does he have any idea who?" Sabrina asked.
"Yes, a man called Fredrick Joseph. Charlie wants to know if he's gotten out of jail yet," Bosley sipped his drink.
"And you have to search through all of those?" Jill asked, pointing to the mound of papers Bosley had produced from his briefcase.
Bosley nodded, "Every one."
"Anyone for another drink?" Kelly asked, heading to the bar.
"I'll get them!" Kris ran up from the couch, blocking Kelly's path to the bar.
"Something wrong?" Kelly asked.
Kris shook her head and smiled, pouring Kelly a coke.
"So, what do we do?" Jill asked.
"You four can help me look through the files;" Bosley grinned, as the Angels' faces fell.
"What about a case?" Sabrina asked.
Bosley laughed and shook his head, "Sorry, Angels."
After 6 hours of paper-work, the Angels had found nothing, so Bosley said they take the next day off and start over on Wednesday.
So now it was the next day, and Sabrina was at the bar.
She looked in the mini-freezer - nothing.
She looked in the icebox - nothing.
What was Kris hiding and where was it?
Suddenly, Sabrina reached out and opened the cupboard below the bar-top. There was a box!
Taking it from the shelf, Sabrina placed it on top of the bar and opened it. Inside was another box, then another one, and another one. Sabrina opened more and more boxes until she got to the last box, a rectangular shaped one. Pulling off the lid, she carefully tore the paper surrounding it.
There was a picture frame! Sabrina turned the frame over to see a photo inside, of her, Kris, Jill and Kelly, around the bar.
There was a note attached, I thought one of you would find this, happy 1st anniversary as a group, love Kris.
Sabrina grinned, placing the boxes in the trash, and the picture on the bar.
She left, knowing she'd found what Kris had hidden - treasure.
The End.
