Misery,pain and blood.

The tale of two souls.

The warm red substance dripped from the open wound, the smell so sweet the texture indescribable the name for this known to one kind of being more than others-blood would be the name.

Rain thunder and sparks, hail hitting through my body.'Whoosh' the wind picked up a loud roar came from the thunder. Flash went the lightening temporarily blinding my sight. The taste of rain was vile in my mouth, yet it was better than not running from the storm, however this left me out of breath therefore I gasped for air out of necessity rather than choice. Unnoticed at the time was the moving shadows...but it was not human movement, yet supernatural movement, the speed, stamina and the quietness of each footstep was jaw dropping of him. Yes it was a he who struck me with a quick power full slash on the arm.

I'm guessing I passed out, waking up on my bed in my apartment thinking that the whole ordeal was just a terrible nightmare. What else could it be?I thought to myself. Rushing to the nearest mirror only to find to my dismay that it was not a nightmare and there was a clear slash mark across my upper arm. Dropping to the floor incapable to understand the situation tears flooded to my eyes slowly dripping down my soft once rosy cheeks that had soon faded leaving me looking anaemic. Letting my body do as it wish my hand involuntary ran through my hair and onto my neck;where I felt four puncture wounds curious, by this find I forced my body up I gazed into the mirror suspicions proved there was indeed the markings on my neck. Could this be the reason why blood smells so sweet to me or the reason why I seem to crave it?

-Hidden village of the forest-

Darkness smothered the surroundings, very little light illuminated from the standing fire staffs securely planted into the muddy ground. The smell of burning wood was over whelming, the building that could be seen through the masses of moss and ivy was barely noticeable but you could tell from the exterior structure that it was ancient; from what you could actually see it seemed unsafe and dangerously fragile (you start to wonder if there was any souls living there and if so what was wrong with them). Fear struck you mind caused by the real life statues with expressions full of misery and pain the stone was cold to my fingers send a shock-wave of coldness all over my skin causes me to shiver. An escape route?-there wasn't one to be seen. The smell of an approaching storm was in the air,but yet when the weather changed and the rain harshly poured down ,you could not taste it. The grass if you could call it that was dead, withered and brown. I was frightened beyond belief,I sensed something bad was going to happen;what was it though? BANG! A shadow rushed passed at an incredible speed,it skimmed my skin leaving the hairs to stand on end;my heart started to race with mixed emotions:curiosity, fear, anxiousness and a few unnameable feelings that you just can not describe no matter how much you try. A slight growl was carried and whispered by the chilling wind. Even more fear ran through my body enough to cause my body to keel over upon itself. My eyes began to widen as my body ignored even the mostly basic of commands, trying with all my will to move even a finger would do I need to to get out of here before I was devoured by the beast that lived in this area according to folk law that is but every single second spent in this daunting place seemed to make the myths more believable it seems liked truth twisted out of context but now I am not sure it had even been twisted it was leaning over to be more true than anything.
