Laurel was packing her few belongings. She had nowhere to go, but had to get out of Star City. Dinah had spared her life, temporarily, in order to help save Quentin. But Quentin was dead, the funeral had been today. Laurel didn't know if her truce with Dinah would hold, and decided she didn't want to be around to fight her again. She had no idea where she was suppossed to go, she wasn't good at making life choices. Quentin had seen good in her when noone else did, not even herself. Now that he was gone, Laurel didn't really trust herself to not fall back into bad habits, but she didn't have to be here to dissapoint these people. Then someone else came into Quentin's apartment. This was Sara, Quentin's true daughter.

.

Laurel: I'll be out of here in a few minutes.

Sara: Where you going?

Laurel: I don't know.

Sara: You planning to be good or bad?

Laurel: I'm not a good person. I've been a screw-up for most of my life. I helped Oliver and the others mainly to save my own skin, I just couldn't bring myself to hurt Quentin.

Sara: He reminded you of your father.

Laurel: Yeah. He saw good in me when noone else did, especially me. Now, I have no idea what I'm suppossed to do.

Sara: You know what we call someone like you on the Waverider?

Laurel: What?

Sara: A legend. If you're not too attatched to this time and place, we could use your help.

Laurel: You sure that's a good idea? I can't really promise I won't screw up.

Sara: Mick's already screwed up more times than you ever will. And I know you're not my sister, but you're also probably not as bad as the nazi version of Laurel from Earth X.

Laurel: What's Earth X?

Sara: Another dimension where the nazies won the war and conquered the world. The Laurel of that world was a psychopath and committed nazi, so was the Quentin of that world. I never saw the Earth X version of myself because she was killed, by Quentin, for liking guys and girls.

Laurel: Sounds like a scary world.

Sara: It was. Anyway like I said, you're not my sister, but my father saw good in you. So we got something we could use your help with. A spot on the Waverider if you want it.

Laurel: No promises, I am what I am. But, I have nowhere else to go, nothing else to do. So yeah, I'm in. Thanks for the chance.

Sara: Happy to have you.

.

Laurel and Sara officially shook hands on their agreement. Neither woman was certain this would work out. But for now they were willing to give it a shot.
