Cyanide & Torsia

Cyanide is the goddess of the act of killing. She had a sister named Torsia, goddess of Torture. They were both daughters of Hades, god of the underworld, and Nyx, goddess of the night. They have a brother named Thantos, god of death. (otherwise known as the Grim Reaper)

Cyanide and Torsia were kidnapped by a minor god who was working for the titans. They were brought to the mortal world at the age of one. They were both adopted by mortals and they grew up in the happy family.

They lived as sisters in the mortal world but around the age of ten, people started to notice that there was something different about these children. They would take their friends to a "fun hideout" and no one would ever see their friends again. That wasn't they only thing though, they would giggle and laugh as Torsia burned a fly on the sidewalk with a magnify glass. After she was done torturing the poor creature, Cyanide would drag her sneaker across the pavement effectively. They would then giggle gleefully and go to torture an ant or "accidentally" burn a kids knee with the magnify glass. The teacher suggested to the parents of the children might need therapy.

The parents put the children through about one year of therapy but that didn't help them at all. In fact it made the weird stuff happen more often. The family soon ran out of money to pay for any more sessions. As the money decreased the father started to lose his mind.

Finally, one night he couldn't take it anymore and while the children were in the room, he killed his wife. Out of grief, Torsia tortured him through his thoughts He screamed in pain for a full hour before Cyanide killed him slowly and painfully.

The girls took their mothers body and cried as they made a proper funeral ceremony for their mother. They made a table of sticks and stuffed maple leaves all over the table. They wrap their mother in her blue burial shroud and lower her onto the table made of sticks. They lit the little shrine in flames. The flames licked up the body as they watched their mother pass to the underworld.

Feeling sorry for the girls, Hades sends Hermes to fetch his daughters. Cyanide and Torsia were soon in the underworld and they loved it. They felt more at home there than any place on the mortal world.

Torsia made herself a palace in Tartarus. She ruled down there torturing people as much as she wants. Cyanide would frequently visit her in her palace full of screaming souls.

Cyanide made herself a palace near the entrance to the underworld. Hers was right next to her brothers, Thantos, palace. She and her sister became new members of the judges of the souls. On the judging table was: Hades, King Midas, Torsia, and Cyanide. (That's right, Thantos is not in on it.)

When their mother came through the gates, the girls immediately granted her Elysium. She was the nicest person they had ever met and she deserved the best.

When their father walked through the gates of the underworld, the girls immediately damned him to Tartarus. They were determined to make him pay for what he did. Hades didn't even get a say in what happened before the father disappeared. Most likely to Torsia's "special place" for people who she really despises.
