Kicker was an easily frightened child. The Autobots had found out about his ability, and taking the young human on energon hunts was getting to be more of a challenge do to the fact that kicker still was partly afraid of the Autobots. (Having his dad there helped, but the kid seemed to cling to him all of the time.)

So it passed that the Autobots had a genius idea. They got a toy, a stuffed elephant to be exact. After space-proofing the elephant, and getting an extra, they gave the elephant to Dr. Jones as a gift to his son…

It was a day before a big energon hunt, and Kicker was the same as always: scared of anything new in the world, including strangers. At the moment, Kicker watched as Sally and Meisha played with Hotshot, Jetfire, and Demolisher. When asked if he wanted to play also, he looked up at them with those big brown shy eyes and nodded 'no.' He wanted to play, but didn't know what to think of the black-haired girl or the giant robots that were all over the place. In fact, the young kid had no friends due to the fact he was always too shy to make any.

The Autobots knew of this fact, and had invited Kicker to play several times. Every time they'd get the same timid look and nod. He looked sad as they played with the other two young humans, so Hotshot had sat down next to him. Upon getting a nervous look, he gently smiled back at the timid child before him. But seeing the invitation, Kicker walked away to find his Dad…

When Kicker had found his Dad, he saw he was busily working at a desk.

"Daddy, can we play after you get done?" The young child asked, looking sad and lonly. His father put him in his lap and kissed his forehead after ruffling his hair.

"Of course we can. But first, I want to give you something special." Dr. Jones said as he pulled the elephant out of a drawer.

"I know there are some scary things in life, like meeting new people or going to new places. Now I won't always be able to hold your hand, so here is a buddy to help you and remind you that mommy and I will always be right here," he gently pressed his son's chest with his free hand, "to help you in life when you need us. It's ok to talk and play with people you don't know, and the Autobots will never hurt you or be mean to you in any form. Ok Kicker?" He said as he gave his son the elephant, hoping that the safety blanket idea would help his son.

"Ok daddy." Kicker said, much happier. Daddy did have a point, and he knew the elephant wouldn't be mean to him and would like playing…

Not too long after…

Kicker was glad to see that the three Autobots were still playing with his little sister and the black-haired girl. Walking into the vicinity had gotten everybody's attention, and Kicker found himself at a loss of words when he was going to ask about whether or not he could join in as he went back into his shell.

"Hey there Kicker. Do you wanna play?" Hotshot asked gently.

Kicker nodded as he hugged the plush elephant.

So Kicker had a fun afternoon playing with the Autobots, his sister (who he loved,) and Meisha.

Throughout the next week, Kicker started socializing with the Autobots a lot more. Now he would leave the elephant behind on energon missions, and be near his dad, but the elephant helped the young child talk and play with the Autobots.

And that is the story of how a stuffed elephant helped Kicker get to know the Autobots. To put it simply, THE END. Hope you enjoyed, please Read and review. Story is complete
