Pansy gripped her wand tightly. She paced around her dorm, where she was alone. Everyone was down in the common room celebrating their win at the Quidditch match. She hadn't been there; she had been too busy contemplating what she was going to do. Draco didn't love her, Blaise certainly didn't love her, let's face it, no one did. She was the least popular in her group of Slytherin girls. Even after Millicent. Daphne was the one who got the most attention. She had it all. Both she and her sister were the ones that everyone envied. They were gorgeous, worthy of everyone's attention, unlike her. She was just Pansy, and she hated it.
First off, she loathed her name. What kind of mother names her daughter "Pansy?" she once thought. She thought it sounded a lot like "pussy," and implying that Pansy Parkinson was a pussy was like implying that Voldemort He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named wasn't pure evil.
Second, she hated her attitude. Now, I know what you're thinking. If you hate your attitude, then why don't you just change it? Well, it's not like everyone makes it that easy. She tried it, and it didn't work. She once complimented Hermione Granger, saying that her hair looked nice when it was in a bun, and all she got was a funny look. Later that day, she noticed that Hermione's hair was reverted to the way she always wore it: in a half-ponytail. Everyone thought that she was being fake, or lying to them. So, you know what, the next time that you want to change your attitude, think back to this, because guess what? It's not that freaking easy.
Third, she hated her appearance. Everyone called her "Pug-Face Pansy," which snapped her heart in two like a twig every time she heard it. She thought that she was fat and as she examined herself in the bathroom mirror, she noticed that her face did resemble a pug. Her worst nightmares were coming true!
She hated herself. And she knew that there was only one thing to do.
Gripping her wand tighter, she pointed it at herself and whispered, "I just want you to know that I love you…Avada Kedavra."
And with a burst of green light, she rested there dead, the color missing from her face.
