A/N: I'm keeping this as a two shot. It's just something I really wanted to write, haha. But, um. I'm not writing anymore fics until next year after this, to be honest. I don't know. Just a break. I am finishing my Adam four shot. But I think that's it =/
I hope you guys like this first chapter and please REVIEW and tell me what you thought =)
Disclaimer: I don't own Degrassi.
Clare looked up at Eli in wonder. Bringing her down to his basement during a party – his own birthday party – wasn't something Clare was keen to do. She stood silently in the corner and Eli gasped for air. He told her he needed her. She didn't understand why, but she went anyways.
Because Eli was the Sun and Clare the moon and his gravitational pull was something she couldn't help.
Because Eli was honey and Clare a bee and she was addicted to him.
Because she wanted to help him.
Make him feel better.
The teen hit the wall with his bawled fists and turned to look at Clare and he walked towards the suddenly shaking girl. The things this boy could do to her were beyond imaginable, and Clare realized that when he leaned in towards her and stepped back all of a sudden. Her breath was taken away with such a small action and the girl furrowed her brows.
"…we're here in the basement," he muttered, looking at her step back slowly, biting her pink, plump, lower lip. "And you came," he breathed out, stepping closer to her.
"I know I did," she told him. "Does that change our relationship status for you, Eli?" She asked, staring him from top to bottom as he neared her shaking body.
The teenager just gave her a shrug and once close enough cupped her cheeks and grazed her nose with his affectionately.
"…no…no," she breathed out as he pecked her cheeks and eyelashes and forehead.
Her knees gave in to the bliss he made her feel by such sweet touches and he wrapped his arms around her waist.
"We've lost so much time, Clare," he told her in a soothing voice, his lips grazing her neck and jaw.
She trembled in excitement. What he was doing was so dangerous. What if Imogen walked in on them? What about Jake? What would Clare do after wards?
"No…"she mumbled, his lips touching hers lightly.
The next few words surprised her, though. I'm sorry.
For what?
For this.
He brought her lips to his and kissed her – not passionately. No. It was something different. It was sweet and soft and slow and Clare's heart stopped as he pushed her gently until her back came in contact with the brick wall.
Her arms hesitantly snaked around his neck, pulling him closer to her.
Because his warmth was something she missed.
Because Clare was a frozen being without him.
Because Eli made her life brighter, when it's supposed to be the other way.
Irony, isn't it? That Clare was the one to go spiraling down while Eli was in such a perfect state. That Eli held a glow around him and Clare didn't. When everyone thought Eli was the dark part of their relationship.
"No," she managed to gasp between kisses, "Goldsworthy."
He pulled back, his forehead touching hers affectionately and his calloused and warm hands cupping her cheeks. Clare bit her lip when she felt the sobs coming. He was being so sweet. It scared her. What was it? Did he forget about his girlfriend?
"I was so stupid to let you go, Edwards."
She closed her eyes and shook her head in disagreement. She put her hands on either side of his neck. "I let you escape."
He bent down and kissed her one more time. Lost in their own worlds, they muted everything around them out of their system. Nothing was relevant. Not the footsteps of the duo making their way downstairs. Nor the gasps the two teens looking at them kiss.
Nothing was important at the moment until Jake raised his voice, Imogen running back up the stairs in tears.
"Clare?"
