Iron Man had managed to catch Whitney in his force field. As she was trapped, he began to remember the old Whitney that he knew back when he was younger.

"Come on, Whitney, this isn't you. Where's the Whitney I used to know? The best friend I used to have?" Tony asked.

"She disappeared a long time ago, Tony! You stopped caring about her as soon as that stupid little groupie of yours came into your life anyways!" Whitney shouted angrily in response.

"I-I don't know what you're talking about!" Tony said, blushing. "And Pepper is no groupie, she's my best friend. I don't appreciate you dumping on her!"

"I never stood a chance with you so long as she was there! Ever since you met her you've been crazy about her, not me! I never mattered to you at all, did I? You never wanted to date me at all, it was all to get her jealous!" Whitney yelled, on the verge of tears.

"Whitney, that's crazy! Of course I care about you, you're my friend! I'd never do that to anyone! Just because I have new friends doesn't mean I can't keep the old. If you surrender now, my dad and I can help you and your dad."

"All you're doing is avoiding admitting its true! You do like her! Just get away from me!" Whitney exclaimed, grabbing her laser gun and breaking free of Tony's force field. She quickly ran away.

Tony sighed as he flew after her. He didn't know why she thought he liked Pepper. He wasn't about to deny it, but he didn't necessarily want to admit that it was true. Even though a voice deep inside him said it was. The confusion made him want to stop thinking about it. So he decided to find Whitney and devise a plan to stop her.

Yeah, this one was short too. Oh well…review!
