Canada's Revenge: WoW Style

By Raven Dunbar 2011

Matthew sat down at his desk and cracked his knuckles, before placing his headset on his head. There was a determined look on his pale feature as he booted up his computer. Deep violet eyes narrowed at the login screen. A vicious looking dragon appeared to roar as the login screen disappeared. The Canadian was now staring at the character screen. He grinned somewhat wickedly to himself as he clicked on one of the character's names.

Alfred looked to the corner of his screen when he heard the familiar ding of someone logging onto there account via RealID. A message read "Matthew Williams (Blackfeather) has logged on" and quickly after that another message followed.

"Hey Hoser! … Meet me in Tol Barad… I wanna show you something."

Not one to back down to a challenge, the American chuckled and turned his Paladin, "Imthehero," named in a rather uncreative manner, around and flew back to Stormwind City where he hopped through the portal that lead to Tol Barad.

As he arrived, he moved clicked the macro for his Paladin to hope back on his mount, but as he did so, he didn't notice the other player approaching from behind. Before the casting bar to mount up had finished, "Imthehero" was struck hard from behind, by a level 85 Tauren Fury Warrior.

Matthew cackled a bit to himself and turned on vent.

"No time to Bubble? That's too bad, Alfred!"

The Canadian had powered levelled the Tauren Warrior from 1-85, and with some help from Russia, China, and Germany (and Italy too, sort of), he'd managed to gear up pretty nicely as well.

Alfred cursed at his brother, making sure he let Matthew know just how cheap of a shot that was. Matthew just laughed.

At that very moment, Arthur was passing by the younger nation on his way to the washroom. He cast a sleepy glance at the blond who was busy beating the hell out of Alfred's Human Paladin with his Tauren Warrior.

"I was wondering why the bed was empty. You're up awfully early, what are you doing?"

"Getting revenge!"

The Englishman rose an eyebrow inquisitively at the Canadian and then shook his head, not really understanding.

"… Right then … I think I'll just go make some tea now."

Matthew waved a hand dismissively at Arthur and chuckled a bit more as he camped Alfred's Paladin's corpse.

"Nutter's completely lost the pot … I won't even pretend to Understand."

With that, the Brit cast a last glance at his lover and wandered off into the kitchen, tutting and shaking his head, baffled.
