Author Note: I do not own the characters. The original -rain- manga is a 16 page oneshot featuring two nameless main females who meet when the narrator of this story cries or on rainy days. To protect the younger audience, I will not post a link to this manga, so I ask you search for it yourself, as it contains some slight yuri hentai in it.

-rain-
Namida no Ame

"Why was I separated from her?" I thought to myself as I let the tears flow. I stood alone in this world, hoping to one day meet her again, but it was futile. She told me herself that she'd disappear if that action would stop me from crying. But why? Why was I separated from she who said she loved me? It was unfair. I finally met the person who was my side even if were only on the days it rained or days I cried, but now I had been separated from her. The only clue I had to her identity was that she was "The rain".

The rainy season ended…

The hot and dry season ended…

The fall ended…

The cold season ended, and once again it was the rainy season…

A year had passed since our separation. I stood at the place where we last met, watching the raindrops fall around and on me. I had done little else but cry alone for that past year, hoping to meet that girl who means a lot to me. Even in the rain, I cried, hoping to have been reunited with her. But it was a fool's hope, nothing more…

The rainy season passes on to the hot and dry season…

The hot and dry season passes on to the fall…

The fall passes on to the cold season…

The cold season passes on to the rainy season once more…

I graduate from High School this year…but that means nothing to me. I continue to hope for the impossible. But waiting for her is what keeps me going. Only that, nothing more. It finally comes to the day of my graduation. Many faces I hope to never see again. As I look out of the window during the final home-room, I watch the rain fall silently with a feeling of sadness and nostalgia. However, there was something different about this bout of rain…something….familiar…

I stand up and run from the class, ignoring the shouts from the home-room teacher and various classmates. I head past the shoe-lockers and to the place where we met for the first time...as I approach, I see a beautiful looking girl with pale skin, long light blue hair, purple eyes and a wet school uniform I don't recognise. Her. The one who called herself "the rain". "Are you…?" I ask, for confirmation, in hopes that it is indeed her.

"I'm the rain." She says with the same smile as our first meeting. "I thought you were crying, so I came here." With those words, I throw myself at her and hug her tightly, crying all the while in happiness that I am reunited with the one who loves me and the one that I love.
