He's A Boy

I was sitting on the couch at home. It was one of those rare occasions that I was actually home, and not at Kurt's. The couch was uncomfortable and unfamiliar. I felt more like a guest then it was my own home sitting in the living room.

I was watching football and texting Kurt when someone walked in the front door. I didn't look up.

"Hello, Blaine." My father said as he took off his coat.

"Dad." I said, eyes not leaving the screen.

"Oh you're watching football! Who's playing?" My dad asked, the sense of hope in his voice whenever I did something 'manly'.

"Greenbay and Baltimore. The Ravens are winning." I said.

My father came around and sat on his chair next to the couch. He loosened his tie as he relaxed into his chair. He smiled at the tv and ran his hand through his hair.

"Hows the new school?" My dad asked awkwardly. His attemps at small talk were always very short, only one word answers and half listening.

"Good."

It was silent as the Ravens scored another touchdown, my fingers drumming on the keyboard.

You know how you spilled lube on the carpet? -K

"Have you made any new friends?" My dad asked, rubbing his neck.

"All of the New Directions." I said looking down at my phone as I smiled.

Yes, Why? -B

I can't get the smell out... -K

"You know, my friend Tony's daughter is quite a looker. Single too. I could get you a date." My dad said.

I snorted. My father and his endless attempts to turn me straight were annoying. You would think he would have gave up by now.

"You know I have a boyfriend." I said.

Guess you should hide the condoms in a better place. -B

"Basically dating a girl." He mumbled.

I sat my phone down and looked at him for the first time this evening.

"Excuse me?" Frustration evident in my voice.

"I'm just saying, He's basically a girl and if you're going to date someone who resembles one, might as well date a real one." My dad said, shrugging.

I tried my hardest not to get up and hit him. I was furious, I was tired of people thinking Kurt was a girl. He isn't. He's a boy! Just because he's a countertenor and he likes fashion means nothing.

"He's a boy. Trust me." I said.

"He doesn't look like one. All I'm saying if you're set on being gay" he spat out the word with disgust "At least go after a manly one"

"Kurt is a man. And I know this because 2 hours ago his huge dick was up my ass!" I yelled.

Dad just called. Him and Carole have to stay in D.C for another day for some interviews. Maybe I don't have to hide the condoms just yet... ;) -K

My dad was frozen in his seat and I smiled. I got up and shove my phone in my pocket. I put on my coat and as I was walking out the door I turned around and yelled:

"Bye dad, I'm going to go get fucked by my boyfriend!"

I laughed the whole way to Kurt's house.
