Flower99Upendi, this is a prequel to your wonderful story ''You are important for the guard, and me''. I loved that story. And I wanted to make a prequel of what Nala told Simba about lions bullying her and he protecting him. I dedicate this story to you. I hope you like it.
''Not that way! Ha-hah!''
''Let me go!''
''We can't. Why let a lion like you run around?''
''Good one, Zura!''
''Leave me alone!''
''No!''
Nala was lying on the ground, holding her paws over her head. Three cubs, who were teenagers, stood beside her and took hits at her. Nala couldn't do anything about it. The teenagers were Zura, Zira and Musafali.
''What are you gonna do?'' Zira mocked. She was taken in and raised by Scar, the one who was like a father to her. And she never liked Nala, anyway.
''The… the king will stop you!'' Nala shouted, trying to sound brave.
''Hah! I don't think so, stupid!'' Musafali strike Nala across her face with a evil laugh.
''THAT'S ENOUGH! LEAVE HER ALONE!''
All cubs flinched as Simba ran out and growled at the teenage cubs.
''Why should we?'' Zura asked.
''Yeah, she's just a stupid wrecked cub.'' Zira added in and laughed evilly.
Simba got enough. With a growl, he leaped and tackled the lioness. Simba and Zira rolled all over the place, both slashing at each other. Other cubs watched, their eyes wide.
''Simba!''
The cubs stopped the fight and looked both up, their eyes filled with fear. The king had came. ''What are you doing!?''
''Hi, dad… they were hurting Nala… and I protected her.''
''Simba, that's so cruel of you! To hurt a cub, who happens to be your uncle's own adopted daughter!'' Mufasa was angry with his son.
''I'm sorry, dad…'' Simba whimpered.
''It's true, sir.'' Nala got up and walked over to Simba. ''He was protecting me.''
Mufasa sighed. ''Still, you will be grounded for a day about that.''
